Q: Is PB and Jellies a franchise?
A: No. Not yet. Our hope is that we will be so wildly successful in Colorado Springs that a few years from now people will come to visit us from all over the country and refer to it as the “original” PB and Jellies! And yes, we could use your help to get there!
Q: Where did the idea for a specialty PB and J / New York Deli restaurant come from?
A: After many visits to New York City over the past few years, the owner, Art Romero, decided it was time to bring a New York Deli, his love for peanut butter and jelly, and Colorado Springs all together. Soo.. whoala!.. PB and Jellies New York Deli in downtown Colorado Springs!
Q: Where does your food come from?
A: We make all our peanut butter flavors right here in our store. We start with our specialty purchased peanuts, put them through our grinder (it’s in our front window – you should watch us make it!), then add our specialty flavors to it – try chocolate, white chocolate, cookies and cream, cinnamon raisin, pad thai – to name a few… By the way, NO PRESERVATIVES. Our jellies are all made in-store by an award-winning jelly maker from Iowa. She has over 200 creations that end up in our store on a rotation based on the best season for the fresh fruits she uses in her jams. And again - NO PRESERVATIVES. Our meats for our deli sandwiches are from Boars Head Brand high quality meats - NO PRESERVATIVES. And our bread is from a specialty bakery in Denver – again.. NO PRESERVATIVES.
And most of our other food is shipped from New York! Our Knish, our bagels, our pickles, our Dr. Brown’s sodas, our black and whites, our Sabrett hot dogs, and much, much more…
Q: Why a peanut butter shop?
A: The owner has four kids—all teenagers! Somehow asking them to come and work at a family hamburger/hot dog/Chinese/Mexican restaurant just didn’t elicit a whole lot of excitement out of them. A Peanut Butter restaurant got their attention…

Q: Can I order ahead to save time?
A: Absolutley! Simply call us, or even better, use the above “order online” link to place your order. Simply tell us what time to expect you and we will start fixing your order right before you get there. No need to wait in line either!
